Van Persie: Small clubs are Arsenal’s Stumbling Block

Arsenal can beat Manchester United and Chelsea at home. But, even so Emirates Stadium was a cemetery for the owner when facing small clubs. Robin van Persie said, that plays a role in the failure of The Gunners this season. 

Arsenal will finish the season without any a title. Although mathematically the English League as the only remaining arena now live for Arsenal, competing with Manchester United and Chelsea. 

Van Persie also feels Arsenal have paid a heavy price for not being able to get maximum points from encounters against the likes of Sunderland and Blackburn, while beating Chelsea and United at home, as well as recording a famous Champions League last-16 first-leg victory over Barcelona in February.

"If you look back at a couple of games this year, like Sunday or against Chelsea, we didn't let these big games count because we dropped points against other teams," Van Persie said. "It makes it very frustrating."

If failed again to become champion this season that means arsenal without a title for enam years. It is a very sad fact for Robin van Persie. 

Immaturity of the squad was mentioned as a reason Arsene Wenger back empty title. Condition called Dutch footballer that happens because of frequent Arsenal achieve surprising results even when visited weak teams. 

"If you look back at some of the game this year, like on Sunday (vs MU) or when facing  Chelsea, we do not let this big game because we lost (points) precisely in the face of other teams. 

The Gunners has beat Chelsea 3-1 and MU 1-0 in Emirate, but suffered some home defeat, 2-3 over West Bromwich, 0-1 by Newscastle United, and Stoke City 0-0 draw.
