Francesc "Cesc" Fàbregas i Soler or Cesc Fabregas is a Spanish footballer who ever played for 8 years (2003-2011) in Arsenal, a leading club in the Premier League. But he returned to his home club, FC Barcelona, at August 2011. He plays as a central midfielder for Arsenal, La Liga club FC Barcelona, and Spain national team.

Fabregas was born at 4 May 1987 in Vilassar de Mar, Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain), to Francesc Fàbregas, Sr., who runs a property company, and Núria Soler, the owner of a pastry company. Fàbregas has supported FC Barcelona since childhood. He began football career with CE Mataró, before being signed for Barcelona's youth academy since the age of 10 years (1997). He then moved to Arsenal academy in 11 September 2003 at the age of 16 because he sensed limited opportunities at Barcelona.

Not until two months after joining, Fabregas made ​​his debut for the Arsenal senior team on October 23, 2003, in a League Cup match against Rotherham United. Thus he became Arsenal's youngest ever first team player, aged 16 years and 177 days. He later became the youngest goalscorer in Arsenal's history when scored a goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers in a 5–1 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the next round of the League Cup.

Fabregas was chosen by coach Vicente del Bosque to Spanish squad for 2010 World Cup in South Africa. But he never played as a starter in Spain seven matches. Del Bosque prefer Sergio Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Xavi and Andrés Iniesta. He only played as a substitute in four games.
