Arsenal failed to win a Carling Cup 2011 trophy after defeated by Birmingham City 1-2 in Wembley Stadium, London, Sunday (February 27). Birmingham leading 1-0 after Nikola Zigic scored in the 28th minute. Robin van Persie made the score 1-1 in the 38th minute. But Obafemi Martins scored the winning goal Birmingham one minute before the game over.
